Ubiquitinated α- and β-tubulin in rat brain lysate. Ultracentrifuged rat brain lysates were immunoprecipitated with an irrelevant polyclonal antibody (anti-neurabin, n), anti-α-tubulin (α) or anti-β-tubulin (β). Immunoprecipitates were analyzed by Western blotting with anti-ubiquitin (Ub), anti-α-tubulin or anti-β-tubulin. Rat brain lysates (5 μg total proteins, −) were loaded next to the lanes containing tubulin immunoprecipitates to indicate the position of α- or β-tubulin.
