RPAs of array screening predicted VHL and hypoxia-responsive target genes. Cells were exposed to either normoxia (N; 20% O2) or hypoxia (H; 0.1% O2) for 16 h. Analysis of expression in 786-0 and the corresponding wt VHL stable tranfectant (+VHL) by RPA. See Table 1, 2 and 3 for corresponding gene names and a summary of the illustrated RPAs. (A) Genes predicted to be either downregulated (a) or upregulated (b) by wt VHL.
