a Hyper- or hypo-methylated sites in myogenic progenitor cells were mapped to genes by closestBed analysis. The number of genes with more than a 2-fold change in expression refers to genes with significant (adjusted p < 0.01) up- or down-regulation of either Mb or Mt vs. 19 non-muscle cultures as determined with an exon expression microarray.
