NAD(P)-Snifits were incubated with different concentrations of the compounds in the presence of the respective cofactor. Cofactor concentrations were set around the c50 as perturbations on the sensor’s performance should be most prominent in this range. The same experiments were performed in the absence of the cofactor to exclude that the sensors can be closed by the compounds. No significant perturbation of the sensor’s performance was observed.
