Cellular localization of rREST mRNA in the adult rat brain by in situ hybridization. Shown are bright-field emulsion autoradiographs obtained after hybridization of coronal sections of adult rat brain with the [α-35S]-labeled rREST cRNA probe corresponding to the region upstream of zinc finger 9 (riboprobe 11; see Materials and Methods and Fig. 1B).
